At a press event on Friday, AT&T and Pantech revealed the first details about the C630 candybar 3G phone!!

The phone was first revealed via FCC documentation, but AT&T spokesperson went further and reveal more details about the features, availability, price and the platform!

Speaking with BetaNews, Frank Fay, a company spokesperson said that Pantechs C630 will be powered with the Symbian OS without any further details about the platform that will run on top of it. Just a quick Post to introduce the Nokia N85 to you, which was covered greatly already here on Symbian Freak. I usually do Phone Galleries whenever i get my Hands on new Trial Devices, so heres my Run on the Nokia N85.

Pretty sad Fact is, that NSU still does NOT support the Device, so Im STILL not able to flash it to German Language, in Order to run a German T9 on it. T9 is necessary for everything i do whenever i type, SMS, Mails, Chat, nothing goes without it.

Thats the Reason i was not able to use it as my Main Device. However Ill produce some Coverage in the next few Days about the N85 - still hope i can give you Guys a good Idea of ho... .. .

South Korean scientists have claimed to have developed an efficient "true blue" material that can accelerate the development of next-generation organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. The development was announced by Pusan National University chemistry professor Jin Sung-Ho, who has led a joint state-funded project with Seoul National University engineers.

It seems like any bunch of idiots can churn out a mobile phone accessory these days and make a few bucks and the Etre Touchy gloves are nice example and I bet some of youd agree with me :] Well, winter is upon us and their missing thumb and index fingertips allows you to keep your hands warm while more easily touching, tapping, and pinching your devices controls and/or touch screens.

Shares of Yahoo Inc soared 10 percent on Tuesday on hopes that the departure of Jerry Yang, its embattled chief executive, would clear the way for a deal with Microsoft Corp. Were so proud to announce the release of the first Samirs game, the long awaited FB Twisted enters first stabile beta and is available for free public download and testing. I wanted to make myself very familiar with game before release and Ive been testing beta for a couple of days and it really works well! Samir has managed to tweak the Frozen Bubbles code and implement motion based controls very well.

Its a great start and the good old Frozen Bubble going to be even more popular now, extended with accelerometer base controls it promises a dose of healthy fun for the whole family!

I already blog about the bad build quality of some of the latest Nokia S60 phones that seem to cripple their businesses and irritate users as well. High-end and high-priced phones that looks like artefacts after just few weeks of use becoming the main problem with latest Nseries devices, the build quality and used materials are simply terrible and unacceptable for this series of very expensive phones.

In the past, our lovely Finnish company have been known as the high-quality mobile phones maker that is getting bad rap for its quality problems nowadays and I just dont know what happened to them?!?

A new version of the Python for 1.4.5 S60 3rd Edition devices has been released yesterday and posted over at our forum section.

Although it fixes quite a few of the bugs it is still an unofficial update and is provided AS IS with NO SUPPORT!

In simple words, the leaked update pack is not made by Nokia, no source code of the changes is available so be careful and proceed at your own risk. Symbian Foundation has managed to make a big impact on the mobile phone industry and all its players and continues to grow at an unstoppable rate! Japans third-largest wireless carrier Softbank, Renesas Technology and five others said on Thursday they planned to join the Symbian Foundation to get access to its upcoming, open source and royalty free (for members) mobile phone platform.
